About Me

If the term grammar geek was in the dictionary, I like to think my picture would be right beside it! I love using my skills as an editor to help writers create well-crafted products that generate attention and make their creators proud.

I’ve been a freelance editor for over five years and have been continuously honing my existing editing skills through training with the Editorial Arts Academy. I’m also a member of the Editorial Freelancers Association and The Christian Pen.

I love to read and am a huge fan of historical fiction. It’s amazing the information you can acquire while also being entertained. Some recent titles I’ve enjoyed include West With Giraffes by Lynda Rutledge, The Hamilton Affair by Elizabeth Cobbs, and The Seeds We Sow by Gary Beene. I believe that being an avid reader and a skilled copywriter truly enhance my editing goals of having a book be loved by readers as well as being grammatically sound.

Currently I live in Marlborough, MA, with my husband, my teenage daughter, and two goofy cats, Bella and Tiva. When I’m not editing, I’m usually cooking, reading, or making chain maille jewelry. My guilty pleasure is binge-watching sci-fi, mystery, or fantasy series including “Only Murders in the Building,” Neil Gaiman’s “Good Omens,” and Star Trek both old and new.
